Accuracy Test

I am not sure if my hygrometer is reading accurately, how do I check?

If you just unpackaged this device, we first recommend giving the device a couple hours to acclimatize to its environment before comparing the readings.

If you have another device that is known to be accurate such as a home thermostat or another hygrometer, you can try a side-by-side comparison test, please allow a few hours for the device to adjust before comparing the readings.

Please keep in mind most of our devices have a +/- 2 F temperature tolerance and as long as itis within this tolerance range, this is considered accurate. The specifications for the accuracy of each model can be found on the product page.
