Display Error Codes / Issues Follow
Is your display showing an error code such as LLL, HHH, dashes (- - -) or ERR? Is your display faded, flickering, unreadable or missing segments?
Here's what the error codes mean:
Error Codes:
LLL: If the probe is reading LLL, please make sure the food is not frozen or extremely cold as this will cause the probe to read LLL. If the food is not frozen, it is possible your probe is defective and needs to be replaced.
HHH: If the probe reading HHH, this most likely means the probe is not inserted all the way. Please try removing it from the device and firmly re-inserting back into the device until a click is felt/heard. If this did not fix your issue, it is possible the temperature is too high for the probe to read or it is defective and needs to be replaced.
Dashes (- - -): If the probe is reading dashes (- - -), this can mean the probe is not inserted properly, your device needs to be re-connected or it is defective. Please follow the pairing steps for your model in the operating manual page. If you have an instant read, this means your device is defective and it needs to be replaced.
ERR: An ERR on the display means your device is defective and needs to be replaced.
If your display is faded, flickering, unreadable or missing segments, this means your device is defective and needs to be replaced.
