TempSpike Probe Melted Follow
If your probe appears to be damaged, burnt, melted, etc. It may have been due to prolonged exposure of a flare up.
The ambient sensor can read temperatures up to 572F and can withstand temperatures up to 626 F or (330 C) before being damaged but if the probe is exposed to direct flame for a long period of time, this will damage the probe.
If this happens, you may be entitled to a replacement under our warranty.
