Setting High and Low Temperatures

How to set high and low temperatures:

You could set up a range of two temperatures to set off an alarm when the temperature goes above or below that temperature range.

1. Go to the PROBE 2 mode. 

2. Tap MEAT until you find the BBQ setting. 

3. Tap TASTE to switch between HI and LO

4. Use the up and down arrow to adjust the temperatures on each the HI and LO

Note: Only PROBE 2 has the BBQ mode. 

Note 2: You can't set the LO temperature to a higher value than the HI 
temperature. For example, if the HI temperature is set to 100, you will only 
be able to set the LO temperature to as high as 99. You'll have to change the HI
temperature to a higher value than your desired LO temperature. This also 
applies to the HI temperature going in the other direction.
