TP50 Accuracy

Is your TP50 reading a few degrees off or do you suspect that it is reading inaccurately?

If you want to check the accuracy of your TP50, you can try doing a humidity salt test. Instructions on how to perform a salt test can be found in the link below:

If you have another device that is known to be accurate such as a house thermostat, you can try a side-by-side comparison test.

Unfortunately, there is no way to calibrate this device.

Please keep in mind that the TP50 has a +/- 2 F temperature tolerance and a +/- 3% humidity tolerance.
