Wireless Hygrometer Pairing (Connection Issues) Follow
Are you having issues connecting or pairing your wireless indoor / outdoor hygrometer?
Here's how to fix it:
If you can't see the OUT reading on your display unit, you may need to pair or re-sync your device with the remote sensor. Please follow these steps:
With both units side by side, take the batteries out of both units. Once this is done, you can put the batteries into the indoor unit first. Then, quickly put the batteries into the remote sensor.
If this is unsuccessful, please try these steps again with new batteries in both devices.
Note: If more than 3 minutes have elapsed from the time you put the batteries
into the indoor unit and you haven't put the batteries into the remote sensor
you may have to repeat the pairing process.
Also, if you recently purchased a new TX-2B remote sensor and are having problems pairing it with your wireless hygrometer, it may be due to the updated frequency in the remote sensor. If you bought your device 3-4 years ago, the older devices operate off of 433 Mhz while the new TX-2B remote sensors operate off of 915 Mhz.
We have upgraded our devices to work off of 915 Mhz so any new remote sensors purchased will not work with older models.
We do apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you.
