TempPro BBQ App Graph Inconsistencies Follow
If your temperature graph is showing inconsistencies like in the picture below, we recommend checking a few things.
First, please make sure your TempPro BBQ App is fully up to date in the app store.
Second, please make sure you are not removing and re-inserting the probe from the food during the cook as this will cause inconsistencies. Also, for ambient temperatures, please make sure you are not opening and closing the hood of your BBQ/Smoker as this could also cause inconsistencies.
Third, please make sure the probe is inserted properly into meat/food. Our thermistor probes have a special probe tip design and the sensor is located in the first inch of the probe so it is important to make sure the probe tip is in the thickest most middle part of the food for the most accurate readings. If the probe is inserted too far or not enough, it could be picking up ambient readings from your BBQ or Smoker.
Lastly, make sure your device is in range and does not disconnect! If your device disconnects, it will lose the data during the disconnection. We are currently working in adding a feature that will store/cache the data which will be available in future. We do not have an estimated time line on when this will be released but our team is hard at work. Kindly ask one of our representatives for an update.
If you ensured all of the above and are still experiencing graph inconsistencies, please Contact Us with your order information, phone make/model and software version and we will reach out to our engineers and resolve this for you as fast as possible.
