Display screen reads LL

If your display screen is reading LL, this can mean that the food is frozen or too cold for the probe to register a reading. To test if this may be the cause, remove the probe from the frozen food and see if it begins to read room temperature. If it does, just wait a bit longer for the food to warm up and you will begin to see an internal temperature reading.

If your food is not frozen and it is still reading LLL on the display even at room temperature, it is possible the probe is not inserted all the way into its port.

If the probe is inserted all the way and you still see LLL on the display, this means the probe is damaged or defective. If this is the case, please contact us as you will need to have this probe replaced.
