Wireless Temperature and Humidity Hygrometer Pairing / Other Issues Follow
Having trouble pairing your device or experiencing other issues? This article will go over everything you need to know!
Pairing / Connection
Before pairing your device, please check your batteries for sufficient life as low batteries could be the cause.
To perform a hard reset (for models that do not use a rechargeable remote sensor):
Take the batteries out of both units, make sure they are side by side. Once this is done, you can put the batteries into indoor unit first and then the outdoor unit, in this order.
If this is unsuccessful, please try changing the channel on the back of the remote sensor and re-try the steps above.
If you are still unsuccessful, your device may be faulty. Please Contact Us with your Order and Shipping information so we can look further into this and replace this if necessary.
To perform a hard reset (for models that use a rechargeable remote sensor):
First, check to see if the batteries in the base station have sufficient life and the battery in the remote sensor is fully charged as low batteries could be the cause.
Next, please bring the remote sensor beside the base station, once the batteries are installed into the base station, an RF indicator will flash for 3 minutes, indicating that the base station is in sync mode. While in sync mode, press and hold the ON/OFF button on the back of the remote sensor for 3-4 seconds, if done correctly, you should see a temperature appear on the base station and it will be properly synced.
If this is unsuccessful, please try changing the channel on the back of the remote sensor and re-try the steps above.

Other Issues
Channels Cycling / Rotating: To make your unit stop cycling through all 3 channels, simply press the channel/sync button several times until it selects the sensor where a temperature and humidity is displayed. If at this point you see a circular "channel rotation icon" below the channel indication, press the channel/sync button one additional time so that it disappears. Your device will now remain locked on to the selected channel. Essentially, you want to press the Channel button until the rotation icon disappears and you can see the sensors readings on the display.
Battery Life: We expect our devices to last approximately 7-12 months before having to replace or charge your battery. If you live in a colder climate, you should expect this battery life to be shorter as batteries do not last as long in colder weather.
Accuracy: The best way to test the accuracy is to compare it to a known accurate device such as a house thermostat or another device. Our temperature tolerance is +/- 2 degrees F and humidity tolerance is +/- 3%, if they vary outside of this tolerance range, please Contact Us with your Order and Shipping information so we can look further into this and replace this if necessary.
Damaged or Broken Devices: If your device is physically damaged or broken, please Contact Us with your Order and Shipping information along with a picture of the broken device and look into replacing this for you.
If you have another issue or question not listed above, please Contact Us with as much information as possible and one of our agents will provide you with an answer shortly!
