TP980 TempSpike Pro Probes Not Charging or Pairing

If your TP980 probes are dead, no longer charging, battery is not lasting as long as they should or no longer paired with the booster, here's what to do:

Check if the charging contacts on both the probe and the base are clean and free of debris. Use a toothpick or toothbrush to clean them if necessary.

Ensure the charging contact on the base is not oxidized. You can polish it with sandpaper, wool cloth, or a rough sponge if needed.

If the TP980 probes are disconnected from the booster, follow these steps below to pair the probes to the booster:

1) Make sure device is powered on and probes are charged.
2) Remove the probes from the charging station.
3) Press the PROBE button on the booster to select which probe needs to be paired.
4) Press and hold down the PROBE button until the screen shows - -. Wait for a few seconds, the temperature should appear on the screen which means the probe and booster are successfully paired.
